Two boats collide in Paxos

PAXOS. There were no injuries and no sea pollution.
Paxos Port Station was informed about a collision in the sea area east of Gaios in Paxos early on Wednesday morning. The sailing boat Dolce Vita with two foreign nationals on board collided with another sailing boat, with seven foreign nationals on board.
According to the Port Authority, a Coast Guard patrol boat went to the spot, where it was found that the two boats were anchored and everyone was in good health.
According to Dolce Vita’s captain, while trying to departure his boat, its anchor hit the anchored boat Fados, which was sailing under the British flag.
There was only material damage and no sea pollution caused by the accident. The two vessels entered Gaios port and have been prohibited from sailing until they are given a certificate of seaworthiness.
