ATHENS. EODY announced 3,273 laboratory confirmed new cases on Wednesday 25 August - including 53 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 3,273 confirmed new cases today. 28 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 570,077, of which 51.1% are males. Over the last 7 days, 192 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,912 are connected with known cases.
There were 42 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 13,509. 95.3% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
332 patients are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 65 and 84.3% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 2,936 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 259 (-11.6%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 267.
