ATHENS. EODY announced 3,605 laboratory confirmed new cases on Thursday 12 August - including 41 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 3,605 confirmed new cases today. 14 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 528,474, of which 51.2% are males. Over the last 7 days, 130 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 2,533 are connected with known cases.
There were 20 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 13,158. 95.2% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
240 patients are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 65 and 84.6% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 2,863 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 200 (-18.7%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 213.
