ATHENS. EODY announced 2,925 laboratory confirmed new cases on Friday 6 August - including 45 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 2,925 confirmed new cases today. 6 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 509,596, of which 51.2% are males. Over the last 7 days 141 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,938 are connected with known cases.
There were 21 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 13,048. 95.2% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
191 patients are intubated in ICUs.The average age is 64 and 82.2% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 2,836 patients have been discharged from ICUs
The number of new hospital admissions is 207 (+7.25%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 175.
