ATHENS. EODY announced 1,605 laboratory confirmed new cases on Sunday 1 August - including 16 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 1,605 confirmed new cases today. 12 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 494,907, of which 51.2% are males. Over the last 7 days 155 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,806 are connected with known cases.
There were 10 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 12,975. 95.2% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
176 patients are intubated in ICUs.The average age is 65 and 83% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 2,808 patients have been discharged from ICUs
The number of new hospital admissions is 163 (+7.95%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 172.
