ATHENS. EODY announced 2,696 laboratory confirmed new cases on Thursday 29 July - including 30 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 2,696 confirmed new cases today. 9 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 487,709, of which 51.2% are males. Over the last 7 days 120 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,577 are connected with known cases.
There were 9 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 12,935. 95.1% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
157 patients are intubated in ICUs.The average age is 65 and 82.8% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 2,802 patients have been discharged from ICUs
The number of new hospital admissions is 173 (-11.73%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 167.
