ATHENS. EODY announced 2,874 laboratory confirmed new cases on Wednesday 28 July - including 30 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 2,874 confirmed new cases today. 10 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 485,015, of which 51.2% are males. Over the last 7 days 118 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,316 are connected with known cases.
There were 15 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 12,926. 95.1% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
144 patients are intubated in ICUs.The average age is 65 and 82.6% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 2,799 patients have been discharged from ICUs
The number of new hospital admissions is 196 (+28.1%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 167.
