ATHENS. EODY announced 2,854 laboratory confirmed new cases on Friday 23 July - including 28 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 2,854 confirmed new cases today. 7 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 471,894, of which 51.2% are males. Over the last 7 days 130 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,394 are connected with known cases.
There were 7 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 12,882. 95.1% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
130 patients are intubated in ICUs.The average age is 65 and 90% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 2,778 patients have been discharged from ICUs
The number of new hospital admissions is 145 (-16.18%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 144.
