ATHENS. EODY announced 2,972 laboratory confirmed new cases on Wednesday 21 July - including 31 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 2,972 confirmed new cases today. 19 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 466,441, of which 51.2% are males. Over the last 7 days 131 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,275 are connected with known cases.
There were 3 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 12,870. 95.1% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
125 patients are intubated in ICUs.The average age is 65 and 89.6% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 2,770 patients have been discharged from ICUs
The number of new hospital admissions is 161 (+18.38%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 129.
