ATHENS. EODY announced 1,834 laboratory confirmed new cases on Monday 19 July - including 18 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 1,834 confirmed new cases today. 14 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 459,146, of which 51.2% are males. Over the last 7 days 141 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,360 are connected with known cases.
There were 8 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 12,858. 95.1% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
123 patients are intubated in ICUs.The average age is 66 and 89.4% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 2,760 patients have been discharged from ICUs
The number of new hospital admissions is 141 (+6.82%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 117.
