CORFU. Who is vandalising parking signs for those with special needs and what are they trying to say?
The Regional Special Needs Association of Corfu expressed its anger, indignation and sadness at the vandalism of the sign in St. Desila St.
This is the third parking sign for those with special needs to have been vandalised in the last year. The previous two were in Mitropolitou Methodiou St and at the entrance to the open-air market.
“We strongly condemn this vandalism which indicates regressive attitudes.”
In a statement signed by the President of the Association G. Spanos and Secretary M. Kokkali, the police are requested to carry out for intensive checks of parking spaces and signs and the community to safeguard them.
