ATHENS. EODY announced 2,562 laboratory confirmed new cases on Saturday 17 July - including 31 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 2,562 confirmed new cases today. 8 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 455,754, of which 51.2% are males. Over the last 7 days 156 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,705 are connected with known cases.
There were 7 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 12,840. 95.1% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
124 patients are intubated in ICUs.The average age is 66 and 87.1% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 2,752 patients have been discharged from ICUs
The number of new hospital admissions is 122 (+20.79%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 100.
