ATHENS. EODY announced 1,820 laboratory confirmed new cases on Wednesday 7 July - including 12 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 1,820 confirmed new cases today. 6 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 430,960 of which 51.2% are males. Over the last 7 days 147 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,636 are connected with known cases.
There were 9 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 12,763. 95.2% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
159 patients are intubated in ICUs.The average age is 66 and 88.1% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 2,713 patients have been discharged from ICUs
The number of new hospital admissions is 59 (+22.92%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 45.
