ATHENS. EODY announced 1,797 laboratory confirmed new cases on Tuesday 6 July - including 11 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 1,797 confirmed new cases today. 8 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 429,144 of which 51.2% are males. Over the last 7 days 125 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,446 are connected with known cases.
There were 8 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 12,754. 95.2% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
168 patients are intubated in ICUs.The average age is 66 and 88.1% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 2,709 patients have been discharged from ICUs
The number of new hospital admissions is 48 (-18.64%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 41.
