ATHENS. EODY announced 801 laboratory confirmed new cases on Monday 5 July - including 3 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 801 confirmed new cases today. 4 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 426,963 of which 51.2% are males. Over the last 7 days 109 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,238 are connected with known cases.
There were 6 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 12,743. 95.2% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
173 patients are intubated in ICUs.The average age is 66 and 86.1% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 2,702 patients have been discharged from ICUs
The number of new hospital admissions is 59 (+96.67%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 39.
