ATHENS. EODY announced 1,001 laboratory confirmed new cases on Saturday 3 July - including 9 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 1,001 confirmed new cases today. 7 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 425,347 of which 51.2% are males. Over the last 7 days 114 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 962 are connected with known cases.
There were 9 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 12,731. 95.2% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
177 patients are intubated in ICUs.The average age is 66 and 85.3% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 2,698 patients have been discharged from ICUs
The number of new hospital admissions is 45 (+36.36%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 38.
