Catering and tourism workers protest

CORFU. Workers in the catering and tourism sectors protested in Corfu Town on Thursday morning.
The protestors were demanding their re-employment, decent working and living conditions and the withdrawal of the Hadjidakis labour amendments.
The protest will continue this evening with motorbikes and vehicles setting off from Alykes at 19:00.
The workers will also be taking part in the national 24-hour strike on 10 June with a protest gathering at the Workers' Centre at 10:00.
