ATHENS. EODY announced 1,497 laboratory confirmed new cases on Saturday 29 May including 25 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 1,497 confirmed new cases today. 1 of the cases was detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 400,395, of which 51.2% are males. Over the last 7 days 25 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 2,152 are connected with known cases.
There were 29 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 12,024. 95.1% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
510 patients are intubated in ICUs.The average age is 67and 86.3% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 2,417 patients have been discharged from ICUs
The number of new hospital admissions is 203 (-12.12%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 218.
