ATHENS. EODY announced 877 laboratory confirmed new cases on Sunday 23 May including 13 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 877 confirmed new cases today. 6 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 389,804, of which 51.2% are males. Over the last 7 days 33 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 2,319 are connected with known cases.
There were 38 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 11,772. 95.2% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
569 patients are intubated in ICUs.The average age is 67and 84% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 2,348 patients have been discharged from ICUs
The number of new hospital admissions is 229 (-14.23%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 287.
