ATHENS. EODY announced 2,093 laboratory confirmed new cases on Wednesday 5 May including 12 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 2,093 confirmed new cases today. 6 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 352,027, of which 51.3% are males. Over the last 7 days 44 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 865 are connected with known cases.
There were 96 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 10,764. 95.3% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
765 patients are intubated in ICUs.The average age is 67and 82.1% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 2,148 patients have been discharged from ICUs
The number of new hospital admissions is 369 (-4.65%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 411.
