ATHENS. EODY announced 2,597 confirmed new cases on Saturday 24 April including 12 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 2,597 confirmed new cases today. 6 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 331,730, of which 51.3% are males. Over the last 7 days 66 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 3,219 are connected with known cases.
There were 86 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 9,950. 95.5% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
797 patients are intubated in ICUs.The average age is 68 and 85.2% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 2,019 patients have been discharged from ICUs
The number of new hospital admissions is 472 (+3.51%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 474.
