ATHENS. EODY announced 2,754 confirmed new cases on Friday 23 April including 5 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 2,754 confirmed new cases today. 12 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 329,134, of which 51.3% are males. Over the last 7 days 65 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 3,094 are connected with known cases.
There were 76 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 9,864. 95.5% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
819 patients are intubated in ICUs.The average age is 68 and 84.5% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 2,003 patients have been discharged from ICUs
The number of new hospital admissions is 456 (-2.56%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 479.
