ATHENS. EODY announced 1,829 confirmed new cases on Sunday 18 April including 7 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 1,829 confirmed new cases today. 3 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 315,273, of which 51.3% are males. Over the last 7 days 57 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 3,374 are connected with known cases.
There were 65 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 9,462. 95.5% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
841 patients are intubated in ICUs.The average age is 68 and 85.5% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 1,941 patients have been discharged from ICUs
The number of new hospital admissions is 495 (-2.37%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 519.
