ATHENS. EODY announced 1,707 confirmed new cases on Monday 22 March including 3 new cases in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 1,707 confirmed new cases today. 21 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 238,830, of which 51.5% are males. Over the last 7 days 79 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 3,075 are connected with known cases.
There were 69 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 7,531. 95.8% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
681 patients are intubated in ICUs.The average age is 68 and 80.9% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 1,592 patients have been discharged from ICUs
The number of new hospital admissions is 394 (- 23.05%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 472.
