€5,000 fine in Zakynthos for not self-isolating at home

CORFU. A total of 111 fines were issued in Corfu and another 45 in the other Ionian Islands between Saturday 13 and Monday 15 March.
Ionian Islands police teams are continuing their checks to ensure that the measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus are being adhered to.
On Saturday 13 March a Zakynthos resident was charged with violating home self-isolation and a €5,000 fine issued.
From 13 to 15 March fines of €300 for not wearing masks were imposed on 28 people in Corfu, 5 in Zakynthos, 2 in Cephalonia and 1 in Lefkada.
€300 fines were also issued for lockdown violations as follows: 83 in Corfu, 16 in Zakynthos, 11 in Lefkada and 10 in Cephalonia.
