ATHENS. EODY announced 1,269 confirmed new cases on Sunday 28 February including 4 new cases in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 1,269 confirmed new cases today. 1 of the cases was detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 191,100, of which 51.7% are males. Over the last 7 days 53 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 2,671 are connected with known cases.
There were 36 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 6,504. 95.7% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
391 patients are intubated in ICUs.The average age is 68 and 84.4% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 1,341 patients have been discharged from ICUs
The number of new hospital admissions is 291 (- 15.9%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 290.
