ATHENS. EODY announced 755 confirmed new cases on Wednesday 17 February including 7 new cases in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 755 confirmed new cases today. 9 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 174,659, of which 51.8% are males. Over the last 7 days 52 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,558 are connected with known cases.
There were 13 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 6,194. 95.6% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
313 patients are intubated in ICUs.The average age is 70 and 86.9% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 1,246 patients have been discharged from ICUs
The number of new hospital admissions is 211 (+11.05% increase) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 223.
The average age of cases is 44 and the average of deaths is 79.
