ATHENS. EODY announced 1,121 confirmed new cases on Tuesday 16 February including 1 new case in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 1,121 confirmed new cases today. 6 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 173,905, of which 51.8% are males. Over the last 7 days 50 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,800 are connected with known cases.
There were 29 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 6,181. 95.6% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
309 patients are intubated in ICUs.The average age is 70 and 87.4% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 1,231 patients have been discharged from ICUs
The number of new hospital admissions is 190 (-5.47% decrease) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 224.
The average age of cases is 44 and the average of deaths is 79.
