ATHENS. EODY announced 1,526 confirmed new cases and 20 deaths on Tuesday 9 February including 3 new cases in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 1,526 confirmed new cases today. 9 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 166,067, of which 51.9% are males. 6,061 (3.6%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 52,913 (61%) are connected with known cases.
277 patients - 77 female, 200 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 70 and 85.2% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 1,176 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 20 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 6,017. 3,534 (58.8%) were males and the average age was 79. 95.6% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
