ATHENS. EODY announced 1,195 confirmed new cases and 19 deaths on Friday 5 February but no new cases in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 1,195 confirmed new cases today. 2 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 162,107, of which 51.9% are males. 6,010 (3.7%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 51,438 (62.9%) are connected with known cases.
246 patients - 67 female, 179 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 70 and 86.6% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 1,155 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 19 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 5,922. 3,485 (58.8%) were males and the average age was 79. 95.5% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
