ATHENS. EODY announced 1,151 confirmed new cases and 27 deaths on Wednesday 3 February but no new cases in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 1,151 confirmed new cases today. 8 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 159,866, of which 52% are males. 5,999 (3.8%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 50,438 (64.1%) are connected with known cases.
246 patients - 69 female, 177 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 70 and 86.6% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 1,138 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 27 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 5,878. 3,457 (58.8%) were males and the average age was 79. 95.5% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
