ATHENS. EODY announced 543 confirmed new cases and 33 deaths on Monday 1 February including 1 new case in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 543 confirmed new cases today. 12 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 157,495, of which 52% are males. 5,968 (3.8%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 49,417 (63.9%) are connected with known cases.
248 patients - 66 female, 182 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 68 and 86.7% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 1,121 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 33 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 5,829. 3,427 (58.8%) were males and the average age was 79. 95.5% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
