ATHENS. EODY announced 941 confirmed new cases and 22 deaths on Friday 29 January but no new cases in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 941 confirmed new cases today. 17 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 155,678, of which 52.1% are males. 5,927 (3.8%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 48,600 (63.9%) are connected with known cases.
260 patients - 67 female, 193 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 68 and 85.8% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 1,099 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 22 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 5,764. 3,388 (58.8%) were males and the average age was 79. 95.5% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
