ATHENS. EODY announced 858 confirmed new cases and 32 deaths on Wednesday 27 January but no new cases in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 858 confirmed new cases today. 11 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 154,083, of which 52.1% are males. 5,893 (3.8%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 47,802 (62.8%) are connected with known cases.
274 patients - 80 female, 194 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 69 and 86.9% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 1,090 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 32 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 5,724. 3,367 (58.8%) were males and the average age was 79. 95.4% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
