ATHENS. EODY announced 842 confirmed new cases and 21 deaths on Tuesday 26 January including 2 new cases in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 842 confirmed new cases today. 13 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 153,226, of which 52.1% are males. 5,874 (3.8%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 47,407 (62.8%) are connected with known cases.
283 patients - 83 female, 200 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 68 and 87.3% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 1,080 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 21 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 5,692. 3,351 (58.9%) were males and the average age was 79. 95.4% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
