ATHENS. EODY announced 585 confirmed new cases and 28 deaths on Friday 22 January including 1 new case in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 585 confirmed new cases today. 7 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 151,041, of which 52.1% are males. 5,822 (3.9%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 46,487 (63.7%) are connected with known cases.
288 patients - 86 female, 202 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 68 and 86.5% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 1,059 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 28 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 5,598. 3,302 (59%) were males and the average age was 79. 95.4% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
