ATHENS. EODY announced 509 confirmed new cases and 25 deaths on Thursday 21 January but no new cases in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 509 confirmed new cases today. 1 of the cases was detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 150,479, of which 52.1% are males. 5,813 (3.9%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 46,236 (63.7%) are connected with known cases.
293 patients - 88 female, 205 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 68 and 85.7% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 1,050 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 25 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 5,570. 3,286 (59%) were males and the average age was 79. 95.4% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
