ATHENS. EODY announced 510 confirmed new cases and 20 deaths on Saturday 16 January including 2 new cases in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 510 confirmed new cases today. 7 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 148,370, of which 52.1% are males. 5,721 (3.9%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 45,355 (63.7%) are connected with known cases.
323 patients - 98 female, 225 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 69 and 87.6% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 1,028 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 20 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 5,441. 3,213 (59.1%) were males and the average age was 79. 95.4% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
