ATHENS. EODY announced 599 confirmed new cases and 33 deaths on Thursday 14 January including 1 new case in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 599 confirmed new cases today. 4 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 147,283, of which 52.1% are males. 5,682 (3.9%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 44,815 (30.4%) are connected with known cases.
328 patients - 101 female, 227 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 69 and 88.1% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 1,006 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 33 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 5,387. 3,182 (59.1%) were males and the average age was 79. 95.4% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
