ATHENS. EODY announced 866 confirmed new cases and 27 deaths on Tuesday 12 January including 1 new case in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 866 confirmed new cases today. 12 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 146,020, of which 52.2% are males. 5,651 (3.9%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 44,252 (30.3%) are connected with known cases.
337 patients - 103 female, 234 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 68 and 85.8% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 977 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 27 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 5,329. 3,149 (59.1%) were males and the average age was 79. 95.5% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
