€3,000 fine for cafe-bar owner in Paxos

CORFU. A total of 63 fines were issued in Corfu and another 35 in the other Ionian Islands on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 January.
A cafe-bar owner in Paxos was fined €3,000 on Sunday and the business closed for two weeks for serving a seated customer. The customer was also fined €300 for not wearing a mask and violating lockdown restrictions.
On 9 & 10 January fines of €300 for not wearing masks were imposed on 19 people in Corfu, 2 in Cephalonia, 1 in Zakynthos and 1 in Lefkada.
€300 fines were also issued for lockdown violations as follows: 44 in Corfu, 12 in Zakynthos, 10 in Lefkada and 9 in Cephalonia.
