ATHENS. EODY announced 510 confirmed new cases and 47 deaths on Thursday 7 January including 1 new case in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 510 confirmed new cases today. 16 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 142,777, of which 52.3% are males. 5,565 (3.9%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 42,934 (30.1%) are connected with known cases.
391 patients - 125 female, 266 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 68 and 85.2% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 911 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 47 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 5,146. 3,041 (59.1%) were males and the average age was 79. 95.5% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
