ATHENS. EODY announced 427 confirmed new cases and 54 deaths on Monday 4 January but no new cases in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 427 confirmed new cases today. 9 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 140,526, of which 52.3% are males. 5,478 (3.9%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 42,054 (29.9%) are connected with known cases.
407 patients - 139 female, 268 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 68 and 82.1% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 902 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 54 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 5,011. 2,976 (59.4%) were males and the average age was 79. 95.5% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
