ATHENS. EODY announced 262 confirmed new cases and 46 deaths on Saturday 26 December. No new cases in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 262 confirmed new cases today. 13 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 135,114, of which 52.4% are males. 5,316 (3.9%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 39,906 (29.5%) are connected with known cases.
473 patients - 153 female, 320 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 67 and 81% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 852 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 46 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 4,553. 1,843 (40.5%) were females and the average age was 79. 95.4% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
