ATHENS. EODY announced 617 confirmed new cases and 50 deaths on Friday 25 December. No new cases in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 617 confirmed new cases today. 6 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 134,852, of which 52.4% are males. 5,302 (3.9%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 39,813 (29.5%) are connected with known cases.
470 patients - 152 female, 318 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 67 and 80.2% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 851 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 50 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 4,507. 1,819 (40.5%) were females and the average age was 79. 95.4% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
