ATHENS. EODY announced 526 confirmed new cases and 85 deaths on Monday 21 December.
EODY announced that there were 526 confirmed new cases today. 14 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 131,597, of which 52.5% are males. 5,229 (4%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 38,481 (29.2%) are connected with known cases.
505 patients - 164 female, 341 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 67 and 77.4% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 812 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 85 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 4,257. 1,717 (40.3%) were females and the average age was 79. 95.7% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
