The Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority (HCAA) has issued a new aviation directive (Notam) for arrivals from the UK from 06:00 on Monday 21 December until Thursday 7 January 2021.
All travellers arriving in Greece from the UK must self-isolate for 7 days at home or at the address listed on their PLF form unless they are staying for a shorter period of time, in which case they must remain in isolation until their departure.
The HCAA directive regarding Non EU Citizens remains in force until midnight on 7 January. Non EU citizens are forbidden from entering the country with the exception of citizens from the following countries: Singapore, Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Rwanda, South Korea, Thailand and the United Arab Emirates. Uruguay, which was previously on this list, has now been removed.
The directive requiring international arrivals to self-isolate for 3 days remains as is with the exception of UK arrivals, who must self-isolate from today. All incoming travellers are still obliged to submit a Passenger Locator Form (PLF) and a negative Covid-19 test result (PCR) performed up to 72 hours before arrival in Greece.
