ATHENS. EODY announced 901 confirmed new cases and 58 deaths on Saturday 19 December.
EODY announced that there were 901 confirmed new cases today. 6 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 130,485, of which 52.5% are males. 5,196 (4%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 38,050 (29.2%) are connected with known cases.
534 patients - 165 female, 369 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 66 and 77.3% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 797 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 58 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 4,102. 1,654 (40.3%) were females and the average age was 79. 95.7% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
