ATHENS. EODY announced 916 confirmed new cases and 96 deaths on Friday 18 December.
EODY announced that there were 916 confirmed new cases today. 8 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 129,584, of which 52.5% are males. 5,178 (4%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 37,630 (29%) are connected with known cases.
527 patients - 160 female, 367 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 67 and 77.6% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 797 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 96 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 4,044. 1,631 (40.3%) were females and the average age was 79. 95.6% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
