ATHENS. EODY announced 1,240 confirmed new cases and 98 deaths on Tuesday 15 December.
EODY announced that there were 1,240 confirmed new cases today. 14 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 126,372, of which 52.5% are males. 5,143 (4.1%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 36,203 (28.6%) are connected with known cases.
550 patients - 166 female, 384 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 67 and 77.5% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 755 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 98 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 3,785. 1,512 (39.9%) were females and the average age was 79. 95.6% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
